Overview:

Tsaghkadzor literally means ‘valley of flowers’ or ‘flower canyon’ in Armenian.

The history of this little town dates back to the 4th-5th centuries. The historical name of the town was Kecharis,

which means birch grove also there is a Kecharis Monastery which is  situated in the north-western part of the city

and is one of the ancient religious complexes in Armenia established in the 11th century. Another interesting thing in Tsaghkadzor is ridding of rope way.

Dilijan is a town with mild climate and fresh air to the northeast of Yerevan. It is famous for its lovely surroundings, called the “Armenian Switzerland” by the locals,

due to the densely forested valleys and mountains with alpine meadows surrounding them.

Haghartsin monastery The exact date of construction of the monastery is unknown. According to historians, the monastery was gradually built from the 10th to 13th centuries,

but as like many Armenian monasteries built between the 7th and 13th centuries. The monastery complex of Haghartsin represents an amazing harmony of architecture and nature
