Tsaghkadzor<\/strong>\u00a0literally means ‘valley of flowers’ or ‘flower canyon’ in Armenian.<\/p>\n

The history of this little town dates back to the 4th-5th centuries. The historical name of the town was Kecharis,<\/p>\n

which means birch grove also there is a\u00a0Kecharis Monastery\u00a0which is\u00a0 situated in the north-western part of the city<\/p>\n

and is one of the ancient religious complexes in Armenia established in the 11th century. Another interesting thing in Tsaghkadzor is ridding of rope way.<\/p>\n

Dilijan<\/strong>\u00a0is a town with mild climate and fresh air to the northeast of\u00a0Yerevan. It is famous for its lovely surroundings, called the «Armenian Switzerland» by the locals,<\/p>\n

due to the densely forested valleys and mountains with alpine meadows surrounding them.<\/p>\n
