Tour Plan

Day 1
Meeting and greeting at the airport․
Day 2
City tour in Yerevan – an ancient city older than the Eternal city of Rome. Today, Yerevan is a lively and charming city with green parks and cheerful and hospitable people. Tour to Armenian Brand factory with tasting. Further, you will walk along the main street of the city, see the Opera and Ballet Theater, and several central streets of Yerevan. In the evening you will have a welcome dinner and wine tasting at the wine restaurant. O/N in Yerevan.
Day 3
After breakfast, you will head to Saghmosavank monastery located at Kasakh
river gorge. An amazing view of the canyon will open in front of you once you reached the monastery. You will continue to the Amberd fortress proudly standing on the foot of Mt. Aragats (2300m above sea level) The lunch will be organized in the yard of local resident’s house. After you will see a real wine castle. It is
Voskevaz Winery the name of which is translated as “Golden brunch” Hear you
will have a wonderful tour around the old winery. O/N in Yerevan.
Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Garni temple of the 1st century AD, the only preserved pagan temple on the territory of modern Armenia. After visit
Geghard Cave monastery. Lunch will be served outdoors with a traditional bread-baking demonstration in tonir(oven in the ground).
Hot, newly baked lavash smells fantastic and it is worth tasting. O/N in Yerevan.
Day 5
After Breakfast, you will head to the South of Armenia to Khor Virap Monastery which offers you the best view of Mt Ararat. After continuing your trip to the second largest winemaking area of Armenia, Arpa river valley. This region is known for its endemic sort of grape Areni, the red wine made of this grape. Here you will have Wine tasting lunch. The next stop will be Noravank monastery – another gem of Armenian architecture which stands amidst the red rock valley. O/N in Yerevan.
Day 6
Tour to Echmiatsin cathedral the religious center of all Armenians. First, you will visit the church of St. Hripsime, which is one of the most beautiful Armenian churches of the early Middle Ages. Lunch will be served in a unique art center Machanents toon. O/N in Yerevan.

Departure.
